Throughout human history the number four has been recognized as magical. It appears in the mythology of every culture across the earth. Of course, in this age of reason we do not believe in magic. But still we must admit that the number four holds power at least within our own subconscious minds, from where it emerges again and again in these myths and fantasies. Its true magic is something inherent in nature which every great artist recognizes when faced with the power of the perfect symmetry of its form.


We too have four symbols to guide you upon your journey through The Imperial Orgy web site. All mandelas are based on the number four. Likewise, the mandela maze upon which this site is built will use four symbols to represent the four points of the mandela. These four symbols are:


The White Rose which symbolizes personal struggle and introspection.


The Clock which symbolizes the power base of government and industry.


The Apple which symbolizes sensuality, sexuality, knowledge, and instinct.


And The Fish which symbolizes spirituality.

The journey is about to begin. As you move deeper into each layer of the mandela you will first enter a lobby where you will learn more about the artists and their activities. From the lobby you may explore the four points of each layer and the themes which the symbols represent. In one of these points you will discover the entrance to the next layer.
