Frank is a graduate of the University of Connecticut in the field of Music Performance, and is
currently one of the most sought after musicians in New York City. Although a rock & roller at heart, Frank
is also an accomplished percussionist and arranger in the fields of classical, jazz, fusion and popular music.
His compositions have been performed in Boston and New York; "Rondo for Two Keyboards" - Leowe Theater, NYC;
"Quattro Stazioni for Contrabass and Vibraphone" - Leowe Theater, NYC; and "Etude No.1 for Solo Vibraphone" - Jordan Hall,
Boston, MA.
Frank was recently commissioned by the International New Music Consortium to compose a Quintet for flute, clarinet,
percussion, viola and violoncello which was selected to be performed in Bari and Florence, Italy and featured in a
multimedia event entitled "Gli Viaggi di Aeneas."
His latest composition "Struggle in Microcosm" won the Aaron Copland American
Music Center grant competition in NYC. The piece will also be entered into the
AMC's National Library of American Music.
His amazing versatility and aggressive drumming are the pulse that drives The Imperial Orgy no matter what
musical territory they choose to explore. Onstage his humor and energy make him a favorite of Orgy-heads everywhere.
Time and time again Imperial Orgy fans describe Frank's drumming style the same way word for word..."It's like Keith Moon
meets Animal from the Muppet's band on acid after running the Boston Marathon and three or four sessions of electroshock therapy
after a Vegas weekend with a harem of lesbian gymnasts while seeing visions of the Virgin Mary induced by 72 hours of non-stop
arcade gaming while on an all-lark's tongue diet."
Frank's past is shaded in mystery. Some say he was born on the road to show people. They say his mother a
trapeze artist and his father a carnival barker...
Others claim that as a boy Frank was a member of a Brooklyn Italian street gang until the age of 15 when his first
viewing of the film "Saturday Night Fever" caused him to leave the gang and briefly consider joining the priesthood.
Still others say that Frank was raised in Nigeria where he performed with his band "Egypt 80"
and lived with his 15 native wives. When his immense popularity lead him to run for president against
the tyrannical president Spermoza, the military police burned down his house and jailed him on trumped
up charges until Amnesty International secured his release in 1987.
The first documented facts we know about Frank start when Teen Beat Magazine ran a "Win a Dream Date with Frank Picarazzi"
contest and Frank chose 'all girls over 14' as the winners. When videotapes of the girls began to surface on XXX websites,
Frank disappeared to Brazil for two years where he taught the tribal drummers of the Amazon
the percussion score to Stravinsky's "The Rite Of Spring" causing several anthropologists
to commit suicide and making the cover of National Geographic Magazine a record 5 times.
Frank first met Caeser Pink when the two sat down to tea and crackers over the body of a Puerto Rican contortionist
at New York's infamous Le Trapeze Club. Since then the two have been busy planning military coups, starting new
religions, and generally mocking all who wear underwear.
