'Heart beats Fire' is an intense look at the demons and angels that drove young artist Richard Barker to the heights of genuis and the depths of self-destruction. The film caused a stir at Penn State University where it was first presented. Surprisingly, it was not the school faculty which took offense, but the oddly conservative students in the film department, who suggested that Pink should not be allowed to continue in the program.
